Bun Dau Mam Tom is among the most exceptional Vietnamese street foods, comprising rice vermicelli and vegetables accompanied by various toppings such as boiled pork, sausage, blood pudding, fresh herbs, and fermented shrimp paste. The distinguishing feature of this dish lies not merely in the ingredients but in the experience: communal serving trays, robust aromas, and a dipping sauce that elicits polarized opinions more than perhaps any other in Vietnamese cuisine. We introduced this dish to Cambodia in 2018, utilizing a unique preparation method tailored to local palates.
