Cambodia’s Economic Engine on the Fast Track: H1 2026 Trade Surge!

The official trade statistics for the first half of 2026 (Jan–June) are out, and the numbers tell a clear story: Cambodia’s economic momentum is accelerating!

Compared to the same period in 2025, total trade volume surged by 20.5%, reaching over $36.8 Billion USD.

Key Growth Highlights (Jan–June 2025 vs. Jan–June 2026):

• Total : Cambodia exported +19.5%, which $17.08 Billion USD worth of goods globally, showing solid demand for Cambodian production.

• US : Exports to the United States grew nearly 30% (+29.8%) to $7.17 Billion USD, representing 42% of all exports!

• China : China remains Cambodia's top total trade partner ($11.64B total volume), with Cambodian exports to China jumping by 25.7%.

• Singapore : Total trade volume with Singapore +216.1%, more than tripled to $1.24 Billion USD.

• ASEAN : Notable export increases to regional neighbors, including Malaysia (+64.1%) and Indonesia (+57.8%).

Booming export figures and rising trade volumes reflect high economic vitality, robust foreign demand, and strong international confidence in Cambodia’s market stability.
